Jake Sisson completed 11 of 15 passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns, and he also ran 12 times for 27 important yards and a touchdown in a 35-28 Class AA South victory over Orchard Park on Friday. The Red Raiders’ win snapped an 18-game winning streak for Orchard Park, the state’s top-ranked team.

McKenna Maycock piled up 33 kills in a victory over rival Cattaraugus-Little Valley last Tuesday, delivered 19 kills and three aces in a win over Falconer and finished the week with 15 kills, six aces and five digs in a victory over Jamestown.

Corey Wefing finished first last Tuesday with a time of 16:59 to help Maple Grove to a first-place finish in a CCAA meet and on Saturday he recorded a time of 16:36.9 in the Varsity Large Division at the Southern Tier Classic to help the Red Dragons to a runner-up finish.

Holly Eliason was first with a 3.1- mile time of 20:47 to lead Sherman to a CCAA victory last Tuesday. On Saturday, she placed first in the Varsity Small Shool Division at the Southern Tier Classic with a time of 20:39.1 to help the Lady Wildcats claim first in the division.
