October 9, 2012
The Post-Journal

The Zonta Club of Jamestown is holding its yearly fundraiser selling calendars to raise money for the club's Service Fund.

The Zonta Club's yearly service projects include: the camp and TEAM projects at the YWCA, Jamestown Boys & Girls Club, Child Advocacy Program, Chautauqua County Striders Mentoring program, the Birdie Turner Home, The Anew Center and building Birthing Kits.

"All of the money raised by our yearly fundraiser is kept locally to drive our mission, 'to advance the status of women'," said Rosie Papalia, five-year member of Zonta.

The Zonta Club of Jamestown is hoping to raise $8,000 to support the above listed projects among other local initiatives that fit with its mission.
