DeAngelo works with service dogs, a type of assistance animal, that are placed with individuals with disabilities such as autism, PTSD and disabilities that severely limit a person's mobility.
DeAngelo shared his personal experience about his two-year training journey with Lola, the first service dog he trained. He concluded his presentation by sharing several pictures of the young boy with autism with whom Lola was paired with in 2011.
