CLCS Posts Volleyball Victory

MAYVILLE - Jenna Einink delivered 15 kills, three blocks and seven aces as Chautauqua Lake (9-0, 8-0) swept Pine Valley, 25-16, 25-14, 28-26, to clinch a second-straight Division 3 title on Thursday evening.

Along with Einink, Ashton Albanesius had five kills and seven digs, Katie Meadows 11 assists and Tara Hunt six aces and nine assists.

For Pine Valley (4-7, 3-5) Kacey Abers had two blocks and two aces, Ahleen Pollock five assists, Alex Bentham three kills and two aces and Kayla Mansfield four kills.

FORESTVILLE ROLLS

PANAMA - Forestville improved to 9-2 overall and 5-2 in league when it topped Panama, 25-12, 25-21, 25-15.

Sydney Youngberg led the way with 14 kills, seven blocks, three digs and two aces; Ryanne Dugan added 21 assists and five digs; Alisha Szumigala six kills; Cherish Pope two aces, seven digs and three kills; and Emily Gilman two digs and three kills.

Brittany Lenart connected for five kills and a block for Panama while Cora Monroy had two kills and two blocks and Carly Abbate nine assists and two digs.

Forestville won the junior varsity match, 15-25, 25-20, 25-23.

MAPLE GROVE WINS

Jessie Babbage recorded five kills, 18 digs and an ace and Nickara Liddell 11 kills two blocks, 14 digs and an ace as Maple Grove (4-7, 4-9) took care of invading Westfield (0-7, 2-10), 25-14, 19-25, 25-13 and 28-16.

Taylor Satalino had four kills, 17 digs and three aces while teammate Taylor Whalen added a kill, six assists and seven digs.

Hillary Nelson came up with four kills, seven blocks and three aces, Andrea Cooke six kills, six blocks and two aces and Jen LaPorte four blocks, two assists and two aces for Westfield.

Westfield captured the jayvee match, 25-14, 25-11, 25-18.

DIVISION 4

CLYMER FALLS

CLYMER - Christine Blidy recorded six aces, seven kills, 16 assists and a block and Jasmine Filkov added two aces, 10 kills and an assist when North Collins (8-1, 8-3) swept Clymer (6-3, 7-3), 25-14, 25-23, 25-13.

Destiny Anderson had five aces, two kills and a block for North Collins.

Jo-Linda Rhodes delivered eight points, 12 assists and an ace, Dani Reinwald seven kills, two blocks, two points and an ace and Christy Reinwald five points in the loss.

Clymer was victorious in the jayvee match, 25-8, 25-13, 25-15.
