JAMESTOWN POLICE
William E. Jackson, 25, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday. According to police, officers responded to 15 Park St. to check for Jackson for outstanding warrants out of the city of Jamestown. Jackson was spotted coming out of 11 Park St. and when police attempted to make contact with him, he fled on foot. Jackson was apprehended after a short foot pursuit and taken to the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
ELLICOTT POLICE
Andrew J. Peterson, 40, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right on Tuesday. According to police, Peterson was stopped after failing to keep right on multiple occasions. He was administered standardized field sobriety tests and taken into custody for the above charges. He was arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
MAYVILLE - Steven E. Samples, 48, of Jamestown was wanted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office for second-degree possession of a forged instrument. He was taken into custody and has been removed from the Chautauqua County wanted list.
OHIO - Francisco Maisonet, 23, of Dunkirk was wanted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office for a violation of his parole. He was taken into custody in Ohio. He will be extradited back to be heard on his charges here in New York state. He has been removed from the Chautauqua County wanted list.
