NORTH EAST, Pa. - Blake Barker and Paul Andalora combined for the only goal in the waning stages for the Jamestown Community College men's soccer team on an overcast Tuesday afternoon.

Barker slammed home a pass from Andalora from 16 yards away with five minutes left to give JCC (5-5-1, 7-6-1) a 1-0 non-conference victory over Division 1 Mercyhurst-North East in NJCAA action.

Goalie Ben Morgan made eight saves in slippery conditions and sweeper Evan Ahlstrom made the defensive play of the game by clearing a shot early in the second half for JCC. Morgan had slipped at the time, but Ahlstrom was there to prevent the goal.

Tyler Little made 12 saves for the hosts and JCC held a 14-8 shot edge.
