St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Route 430, Bemus Point, will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The event will be a dinner and program at the Rowdy Rooster in Panama. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The dinner, with social time before, begins at 6 and features a buffet with chicken, pot roast, vegetables, potatoes, salad, rolls, beverages and dessert. The cost for adults is $20, and children 12 and under are free.

Reservations are required by Sunday, and checks may be written and sent to St. Timothy Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 9190, Bemus Point, NY 14712. For further information, call the church office at 386-7280.
Former pastors were invited to this event, and the ones who are able attend include the Rev. Robert Pearson, the original mission pastor; the Rev. Craig Swanson, the Rev. Jeff Silvernail, and the Rev. Mary Krahn Johnson. Each pastor, as well as current pastor the Rev. Jordan Miller-Stubbendick, will share remembrances of their time at St. Timothy.
The following morning, St. Timothy will continue the celebration at the 10 a.m. worship service with all the visiting pastors participating in the worship. The Rev. Jeff Silvernail will be the pulpit guest. All are welcome.
