Anthony Robert Taglianetti II, the only suspect in the homicide of Keith Reed Jr., did not waive extradition to New York on Monday and will remain in Prince William County, Va., until an extradition hearing is conducted, according to a news release from Sheriff Joe Gerace.

Reed was found dead Sept. 24 outside his home. Taglianetti II was named as the suspect in Reed's killing on Thursday and was then taken into custody Friday near Shenandoah Valley National Park in Virginia. Area officials have said Taglianetti II will be charged with second-degree murder.

David Foley, Chautauqua County district attorney, is handling the extradition procedures. Gerace said extradition could take more than 30 days.
