The Jamestown YMCA will provide full and half days of activities for children between the ages of 5 and 12 for the upcoming school holidays and in-service days in October.
Age-appropriate activities are planned each program day starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. such as swimming, arts and crafts, gym games, group activities, games and cooking. The YMCA also provides care on all early dismissal days for elementary students according to the Jamestown school calendar beginning at 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Program fees for early dismissal days are $18 for YMCA members and $24 for potential members.
Each day will feature a theme:
Monday, Oct. 8, is Columbus Day with Columbus Day crafts and games.
Friday, Oct. 12, is Pumpkin Day with a pumpkin decorating contest and games.
Each day, children should bring a lunch, a morning and afternoon snack and a swim suit and towel. Program fees for full days of care at the YMCA are $24 for each child for YMCA members and $32 for potential members.
