Rex Tolman, managing partner of Tolman Engineering, PLLC and Tolman Architecture and Engineering, LLC has recently been selected to attend a national federal procurement training program for Veteran Entrepreneurs, the Veteran Institute for Procurement.
The VIP three-day, national program provides a comprehensive certification program designed to train veteran business executives to increase their ability to win government contracts. Funded entirely by the Montgomery County Maryland Chamber Community Foundation and major business and federal agency sponsors, the institute is offered at no cost to participants. A maximum of 50 veteran business owners are selected nationally each year for the program. Selectees must be veteran business owners or principals for a veteran-owned small business and have already had success as a federal prime contractor. Top executives from professional service companies with extensive federal procurement experience will be leading the VIP program.
The program is designed to assist veteran businesses already successful in federal contracting move to the next level in securing federal contracts.
