FREWSBURG - A loyalty program and discounts are a couple reasons why people could try a new destination to find their next bottle of wine.
Frewsburg Wine & Spirits, located at 22 W. Main St., in Frewsburg opened its doors Aug. 31. The shop is managed by Nathan Peterson and Debbie Marker. It is owned by Dan Kopf.
Peterson said the business has several discounts to offer customers. There is a 10 percent discount on marked wine prices, 5 percent reduction for veterans on Monday and 5 percent less on a purchase of a case.

''We also run specials frequently and will be doing a loyalty program, as well,'' Peterson said. ''We will also provide reloadable gift cards.''
Peterson said the business has a wide selection of local and national wines. He said they have Johnson Estate wines and will be looking to carry Merritt wines in the near future. Frewsburg Wine & Spirits also has glasses and corkscrews, with additional accessories to be added.
The store also carries a variety of spirits.
''We are taking suggestions on what liquors people would like us to carry,'' Ms. Marker said.
Peterson said, so far, area residents have responded well to the new business in Frewsburg.
''I think it has been 25 years since Frewsburg has had a wine and liquor store,'' he said. ''It has been great getting to know people and interacting with the community.''
