SANBORN - Jamestown Community College captured all nine games in defeating three teams at the NJCAA Region 3 Division III Women's Volleyball POD Tournament at Niagara County CC on Saturday.
Jamestown (15-1) beat Corning CC, 25-18, 25-20, 25-19 as Christina Rauh had two aces, 18 assists, nine kills and 10 digs followed by Brittany Brace with an ace, 10 kills, six digs and two blocks.
Anna Nietupski delivered six kills and 15 digs; and Arica Lis added an ace, six kills and nine digs in the win.
Then, JCC disposed of Tompkins Cortland CC, 25-23, 25-5, 25-12, with Rauh again leading the way with four aces, 14 assists, six kills and seven digs.
Brace had two aces, seven kills, four digs and three blocks; and Kelsey Kyser had an ace, two kills, seven digs and four blocks.
Next was Broome CC and the Jayhawks took the match, 25-19, 25-22, 25-12, with Rauh having three aces, 25 assists, nine kills, 10 digs and a block.
Lis recorded eight kills and nine digs; Kyser had an ace, eight kills, three digs and block; and Brace three aces, eight kills, seven digs and a block.
JCC is home for the final time this season against Erie CC at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
