Paige Sirwatka gave Maple Grove the only goal it needed when she scored on a penalty kick in the 23rd minute, but Mikaela Swanson, assisted by Alex Novotny, added one for good measure in the second and the Lady Red Dragons dropped Silver Creek, 2-0, in Division 3 soccer on Friday.
Lauren Nickerson recorded yet another shutout for the winners while Silver Creek's (2-8, 2-7) Jamie Hehir made eight saves in the losing effort.
Maple Grove will be looking to make it 12 straight wins on Monday at 4:30 p.m., when it hosts Portville.
