Jack Henderson, a member of Falconer Rotary, had a passion for providing clean safe drinking water to the people of Haiti.
During his lifetime, he provided leadership to the club project to drill a well in the Artibonite Valley in Haiti. Shortly before his death on Sept. 1, Henderson discussed ways to keep his dream to drill another well alive with his wife and daughters. His daughter, Jill Leahman, also a member of the Falconer Rotary Club, presented the club with a check to be added to an existing fund at Chautauqua Regional Community Foundation entitled The Haiti Relief Fund. The check along with several other contributions by club members in Henderson's name, will be used to grow the fund and continue his dream of adding another water well in the Artibonite Valley of Haiti.
You to can be a part of providing clean water to Haiti by contacting either a member of Falconer Rotary or the Chautauqua Regional Community Foundation and asking about the Haiti Relief fund established by Falconer Rotary.
