Salt Lake City Missionaries To Serve In Jamestown

September 27, 2012
The Post-Journal

Donald Holman and Cynthia Sue Biery, of Salt Lake City, will service their third mission at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 861 Forest Ave., Jamestown. Their first mission was to the Philippine Islands where they wrote and presented an anti-addiction show on smoking, alcohol and drug use which were prevalent in grade schools. Later they were asked to become the directors of the Mission Resource Center, acting as liasons with mission presidents and the travel department helping young missionaries coming into and returning home from the islands and took care of ill and injured missionaries. Holman and Ms. Biery also served as employment missionaries in Bangalore and Hyderbad, India.

During this current mission to Jamestown, they feel they were called as member and leader support missionaries, bringing the message that Jesus Christ lives.

When asked their thoughts of the area, they stated that the beauty of Jamestown inspires them - the woods with tall trees, the hills, the winding roads. They are delighted to be able to live in this little bit of paradise here on our beautiful earth.
