LORAIN, OHIO - It was a happy trip home for the Jamestown Community College men's soccer team on Tuesday as the Jayhawks (3-3-1, 5-5-1) picked up a non-conference victory, topping Lorain CC, 7-1.

It was also a big day for Blake Barker as he earned the hat trick for the Jayhawks, who improved to and 5-5-1 overall.

After spotting Loraine CC an early 1-0 lead, Barker put JCC on the board at the 29-minute mark of the first half with his first goal as Gage Bird assisted and, five minutes later, Barker got his second of the game, unassisted.

With four minutes left in the half, Bird found the net as Barker assisted and the Jayhawks held the 3-1 advantage,

JCC kept things rolling in the second half as Connor Meekins scored on an assist by Paul Andalora at the seven-minute mark to make it 4-1 and Barker nailed his third goal of the game at 57 minutes.
