CLYMER - After a day of searching for evidence in the case of the murder of Keith Reed Jr., answers are still scarce.

According to Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace, an autopsy Tuesday morning confirmed that the Clymer superintendent's death was due to multiple gunshot wounds. The death has also been officially ruled a homicide. At this time, investigators are working on interviewing individuals and following up on leads.

"At the same time that the investigators are working, we're also working on evaluating evidence that has already been collected," said Gerace.

Family members have stated that one of Reed's daughters was most likely the last person to see him when he met her for dinner. According to the family, the body was found roughly 150 feet from the house near the property line. Authorities have not released the type of gun that was used in the killing, and they have also not released names of any possible suspects.

Anyone with any information regarding this crime is asked to contact the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office at 753-2131. All calls and tips will remain strictly confidential. The Chautauqua County District Attorney's Office can be reached at 753-4241.
