FRANKLINVILLE - Pine Valley's Brande Pulliam-Dahl broke a 2-2 tie with a second-half goal and the Lady Panthers (5-4) edged host Franklinville, 3-2, in Division 3 girls volleyball on Monday.
Early on, Pine Valley jumped into the lead eight minutes in with a goal from Jamie Wilcox, assisted by her sister, Jessica Wilcox.
However, Franklinville tied it up when Allison Ciesla scored at the 20-minute mark.
A few minutes later, Becky Butcher put Pine Valley back in the lead, assisted by Naemi Silleman.
But in the second half, Ashley Leederman of Franklinville scored an unassisted goal 22 minutes to tie the game again.
Six minutes later, however, Pulliam-Dahl scored the game winner as Jessica Wilcox assisted.
Nicole Rinehart got the win for Pine Valley with 14 saves.
Carli Lembicz took the loss for Franklinville with 12 saves.
