ERIE - Rachel Mole competed in the Pennbriar Fall Classic tennis tournament in Erie, entering the event as the No. 1 seed in the Women's 4.0 Singles Division and when things concluded on Sunday, she had claimed the championship.
On Saturday, Mole defeated L. Fadden, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, then moved on to down M. Cserwinski, 6-3, 6-2, in the semifinals on Saturday, earning a spot in the finals on Sunday.
In the finals, he rolled past Brittany McBride, 6-3, 6-3, to take the crown.
