The Friends of Prendergast Library will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the library's Fireplace Room.
The group was founded in 2007 with a mission of promoting and supporting Prendergast Library.
On the agenda for the annual meeting will be a review of the year's events and plans for the organization's future activities, which include selling Bon Ton booklets for the Community Day Event on Nov. 9-10, participation in the Big Read and efforts to increase the number of organization memberships.

Refreshments at the annual meeting will be punch and cookies. All members, as well as the general public and those interested in the group, are encouraged to attend.
