Diane Marie Barker, 69, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, after a courageous four-year battle with canc-er.
She was born April 23, 1943 in Hornell, N.Y., the daughter of Eugene Anthony and Phoebe Amelia Oliver Pfuntner. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Barker.
Mrs. Barker is survived by her children: Geoff (Suzanne) Barker of Carlsbad, Calif., Sue (Scott) Snyder of Austin, Texas, Marci (David) Enoch of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and David (Andrea) Barker of Princeton, N.J.; grandchil-dren: Madison Barker, Kathryn Snyder, Matthew Snyder, Isabella Enoch, Luke Enoch, Emerson Barker and Tenleigh Bark-er; brother, Robert Pfuntner of Elmira, N.Y.; and sister. Donna (Thomas) McCoy of Panama City, Fla.
Mrs. Barker was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was an avid bridge player, and had many loving friends.
A private memorial ser-vice was held in Murfrees-boro and she will be buried in Canaseraga, N.Y. Memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of Mrs. Barker.
