CORNING - Ben Morgan recorded the shutout in goal with six saves as Jamestown Community College Jayhawks (4-5-1, 3-3-1) blanked Corning CC (0-7), 3-0, in NJCAA Region 3 Division III men's soccer on Sunday afternoon.
The Jayhawks' first score was an own goal as a Corning player deflected the ball into his own goal.
The 1-0 lead held up to halftime and then eight minutes into the second half, Blake Barker sent a pass to Gage Bird, who scored for his fourth goal of the season for a 2-0 advantage.

With 20 minutes left, Barker scored unassisted from about 20 yards out for his team-leading sixth goal of the season.
''It as a good performance for us,'' JCC coach Pat Anderson said. ''We outshot and out-cornerkicked them two to one.''
JCC return to action on Tuesday at 4 p.m. with a game at Lorain County CC at Elyria, Ohio.
