BLOCKVILLE - The Harmony Historical Society, located on Open Meadows Road in Blockville, is preparing for its annual fall festival to be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, and Sunday, Oct. 7.
All of the society's buildings will be open to tour with many displays to view. There will be demonstrations of historical crafts and vendors with crafts and items of interest to purchase. The quilt show is one festival highlight. The quilt to be given away that weekend is a creation of the society's quilters group. They will also have quilted items for sale.
The festival will also include food, with many homemade pies available. Each day there will be music.
