RANDOLPH - Janissa Annis' score was the difference in the Division 2 girls soccer game for Frewsburg (4-3).

SALAMANCA WINS

PORTVILLE - Salamanca (6-3) broke a scoreless tie in the second half and hung on for a 2-1 victory over host Portville (6-2).

Following a scoreless first half, Salamanca got on the board six minutes into the second half when Shae Smith scored as Alyssa Couspenis assisted and eight minutes later, Micky Tinnerman netted a goal, assisted by Couspenis, to make it 2-0.

Three minutes later, Natalie Smith scored on a breakaway for Portville, but that was as close as the Lady Panthers would come.

Courtney James and Kashauna Learn combined for eight saves in getting the win for the Lady Warriors.
