Chicken Dinner Set For Saturday
DEWITTVILLE - The Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church, Route 430 and Meadows Road, Dewittville, will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29. The cost is a donation of $7 and includes dessert and beverage.
Rummage Sale Set For Saturday
LAKEWOOD - Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 35 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, will host a rummage sale and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29. The sale will include housewares, clothes, toys, furniture, books and more.
Health Fair
Set For Saturday
WESTFIELD - St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 12 Elm St., Westfield, will present the inaugural Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The goal is to promote services, programs and resources that will enhance total well-being. The health fair will include lecturers, organizations, demonstrations, presentations, information and activities to include but not limited to: various therapies, mental health, support, healing and pastoral care, YWCA and exercise, blood pressure checks, refreshments, door prizes and more. Lakewood Board To Meet Monday
LAKEWOOD - The Village of Lakewood board of trustees will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the village board room. A work session will precede the meeting at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
Southwestern Board To Meet
The Southwestern Central School Board of Education will hold a work session Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the middle school library. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct school business. The public is invited to attend.
Free Trapping Class Available

Donations Now Being Accepted
The Community Outreach Center at First Lutheran Church, corner of Chandler and Center streets, Jamestown, is accepting donations of small household items and clothing in good condition. Items may be dropped off during regular center hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Harvest Dinner Set For Saturday
WATTS FLATS - The Watts Flats United Methodist Church will sponsor a harvest dinner featuring turkey and all the trimmings and a country craft store starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. Take-out orders will be available. The cost is $9 for adults, $3 for children between the ages of 6 and 12 and free for children under 5.
