First responders reported to the intersection of Thayer and Second streets Friday around 1:45 p.m. for a car-pedestrian accident. According to an officer at the scene, a female pedestrian who appeared to be intoxicated was crossing the intersection against the light when she was struck. The victim was placed on a stretcher and transported by Alstar Ambulance with minor injuries. No further information was made available before presstime.
