Calif. Man Serving LDS Mission In Jamestown

September 21, 2012
The Post-Journal

Andrew Ray Woodruff, the son of Stan and Cindy Woodruff of Hesperia, Calif., will serve a mission at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 851 Forest Ave., Jamestown.

He hopes to accomplish bringing people closer to Christ and also expects himself to come closer to Christ than he ever was before so he can be an example to those he teaches.

When asked his thoughts of Jamestown, he stated he was shocked to see so many roads made of brick and he loves how it sits so close to Chautauqua Lake; makes for beautiful scenery. He thinks it is a big city with a very small town feel to it.
