Panama Girls Fall In Double Overtime

PANAMA -Panama lost a heart-breaking Division 3 girls soccer game in overtime on Wednesday.

Jessica Baker scored at 6:20 of the first overtime to give West Valley (2-2, 2-2) a 2-1 double-overtime win over Panama (0-3, 0-4).

Rachael Zimmer's tally at 25:26 from Taylor Will put West Valley ahead, 1-0.

The Lady Wildcats maintained that lead until Bri Swanson of Panama scored at 14:56 of the second half from Kirsten Green to tie it up at 1-1. Then, Baker got the go-ahead goal.

Ashley Blackmon made 12 saves for Panama and Rebecca Whitmore had half of that amount with six saves for WV.
