Discolored water may be expected in the village of Lakewood in the afternoon and evening today.
BPU employees are tying in a new water main on Mapleview Avenue beginning at Oak Street; and on Spruce Street between Mapleview and Fairmount avenues. The work is expected to be completed between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
This process will stir the water and discolored water is expected to be the result.
