Outdoor Club To Hike Sunday

On Sunday the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike five miles on gently rolling terrain on the Cornplanter State Forest near Tionesta. Participants will meet at state forest parking lot on the Neiltown Road at 2 p.m. From Tionesta, drive across the Route 36 Bridge then turn right and drive two miles north, then turn right on the Neiltown Road and continue one mile to the Cornplanter State Forest sign on the left. Free Bluegrass Tonight In Celoron

CELORON - There will be free bluegrass music at the Celoron American Legion from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight. Bluegrass musicians are welcome to take a turn on stage. Backwoods Bluegrass will be the host.

Walk For Life Set For Sunday

Choose Life/Women's Services will hold its annual Walk for Life on Sunday at Falconer Park. The festivities begin at 1 p.m. with free food followed by the walk at 2 p.m. Walkers raising $100 or more will be entered into a prize drawing, and all who raise $150 or more will receive a free T-shirt. 'God's Favorite' Continues Friday

God's Favorite continues at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Robert H. Jackson Center. All proceeds are being donated to The American Red Cross, The Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy, LOVE Inc. and St. Susan Center. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling the church office 483-6405, Ryder's Cup Coffee at 763-5686, Labyrinth Press Company at 708-2471, Daniel Pierce at 969-7412 or any cast or crew member. There are also 12 baskets being given away as part of a fundraiser.

Autism Walk Set For Saturday

CELORON - The third annual Step Up For Autism 1.5-mile walk will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning at 200 Dunham Ave., Jamestown. Entry fee is $20, which includes a T-shirt and lunch. Proceeds benefit the TRC Foundation and help provide socialization skills training for youths with Autism Spectrum Disorder. For more information visit stepupforautism.com or call 661-1057.

Blood Bank Offering Giveaway

The Community Blood Bank is holding a blood drive at WCA Hospital on Friday from noon to 5 p.m. Anyone who donates through Saturday can enter to win four tickets to the Nov. 18 Pittsburgh Steelers-Baltimore Ravens game in Pittsburgh.
