The Fenton History Center will lead a tour of the old northside of Jamestown, now our greater downtown, on Saturday.
From Fourth Street to the Chadakoin, learn about the people and businesses that thrived here from the early 1800s to the 1950s. The tour will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., starting at the Fenton History Center, 67 Washington St., Jamestown.
The tour will be led by Fenton History Center Museum teacher Gesele Koehler. It will begin and end at the Fenton History Center parking lot. The tour is approximately two hours long. Participants should be able to walk for two hours, wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. The fee is $10 for potential members and $5 for Fenton History Center members.
