Southwestern earned its fourth win of the season to maintain its perfect record as the Lady Trojans (1-0, 4-0) stopped the Panama Lady Panthers, 3-0, in non-league girls volleyball on Monday evening, posting games of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-17.
Sally Rudny had 12 kills, Maddy Alexander added seven aces, 14 assists and seven kills to lead Southwestern. Kara Schutte contributed three aces, 11 assists, four kills and nine digs, and Jackie Gullotti had three aces, six kills and nine digs.
For the Lady Panthers, (1-1, 2-2) Crystal Swanson had seven kills and two digs, Carly Abbate added two aces, 14 assists and a kill and Cora Monroy four kills, two blocks and a dig.
