Anne Relyea Carey, 84, wife of Bradlee Carey, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at the Regional Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at the Methodist Oaks Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Frank E. Larisey officiating. A private inurnment will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.
Anne was born June 10, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to James Douglas Erskine and Marguerite Ogilvie Erskine. She attended Wells College in Aurora, N.Y., before marrying Robert Relyea. Together, they would celebrate 55 years of marriage until his death in 2003. In 2004, Anne fell in love with and married Bradlee Carey. They have been residents of the Methodist Oaks since 2007. She was an avid golfer, bridge player and active member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. She will be remembered for her warm, loving spirit and generous heart.

She is survived by her husband, Bradlee Carey; two sisters: Maude and Margot; three children: Nancy, Bill and Pam; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
