CORNING - A pair of Blakes teamed up for the deciding goal as Jamestown Community College (2-2-0, 3-3-1) recorded a one-goal win on Saturday afternoon against Clinton CC in NJCAA Region 3 Division III men's soccer action.

Blake Barker's goal from Blake Montgomery from 12 yards out with nine minutes left gave JCC a 3-2 victory in a game played at Corning CC.

It was the third straight win for JCC in the series and it didn't look good at the start as Clinton's Jordan Knight scored the first two goals at seven minutes and 16 minutes.

Barker got his third of the season from 18 yards with an assist from Nolan Farr at 30 minutes to cut the JCC deficit to 2-1.

Then a deflection by a Clinton defender went into the net for JCC to make it a 2-2 tie.

That set the stage for Barker earning his game-winning goal, his fourth of the season.

Ben Morgan was the winning goalie and made eight saves for JCC. Travis Agoney had six saves for Clinton.

JCC next hosts Tompkins-Cortland CC at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
