FALCONER - Alyssa Brooks and Shannon Gunnell were the standouts as Falconer (2-0, 3-1) took Dunkirk (0-2, 1-2), 25-17, 25-27, 25-10, 25-21, in Division 1 girls volleyball.
Brooks recorded 14 kills and four aces and Gunnell 13 kills and four aces while Makalia Haveron added 32 digs and three aces and Kalynn Swanson 38 assists for the Lady Golden Falcons.
For Dunkirk, Lacey Clark had two kills, eight digs, 13 assists and a block, Khee Nance nine kills, four aces, nine digs and a block, Sarah Shanlin six kills, 12 digs, three blocks and two assists and Alexis Clark four kills, five digs, three blocks and an ace.
Falconer (2-0, 4-0) stopped Dunkirk (0-2, 0-3), 25-10, 25-11, 25-7, in the junior varsity match.
