Pig Roast Benefit Set For Sunday

CASSADAGA - Feegan's Witch Kitch will host a pig roast from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday to benefit the Cassadaga midget football program. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. For more information or to buy tickets, call the Witch Kitch at 962-8333. Tickets will also be available the day of the event.

Baptist Church To Host Ministers

CASSADAGA - The Cassadaga Baptist Church will host the ministry of Jim and Luella Krieger at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service. Luella Krieger, a past visitor to the area, will help to make pages of the Bible come alive. A dish-to-pass dinner follows the service.

Choir Begins Cantata Work

The Community Praise Choir is beginning to work on its Christmas Cantata "O Holy Night" at Fluvanna Community Church. Rehearsal will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday. The group is looking for at least 40 choir members from area churches to participate. The cost is $10, but those who can't afford to give can still participate. The cantata will be performed at 6 p.m. Dec. 15-16.

Driving Course Set For Monday

FREWSBURG - A five-hour prelicensing driving course will be held at Frewsburg High School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. Pre-register by calling the guidance office at 569-7026 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

American Legion To Host Breakfast

CELORON - The Herman Kent American Legion Post 777 breakfast committee will hold its monthly breakfast at the post Sunday. The post will have its full buffet with eggs, home fries, sausage, ham, french toast, sausage, gravy and Danish or the Post 777 three-egg omelet. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 10 and under. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Ripley To Host Pig Roast Saturday

RIPLEY - The Ripley United Methodist Church, 84 W. Main St., Ripley, will host a pig roast from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The menu includes roasted pork, potatoes, baked beans, apple sauce, bread and butter and pie with a beverage. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Swiss Steak Dinner Is Saturday

CHERRY CREEK - The Cherry Creek/Leon United Methodist Church on Main Street in Cherry Creek will have a Swiss steak dinner starting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Donations of $8 for adults and $5 for children are requested. Family pricing is available. The meal includes beverage and homemade desserts.

JHS Band To Compete Saturday

The Jamestown High School Red Raider Marching Band's Fall Festival of Bands will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Strider Field. Presale tickets are $5 or $6 at the door. Call 483-4217 for tickets. Six bands will be competing: Eisenhower, Falconer, Wellsville, West Seneca, Orchard Park and Jamestown. The band will be giving away an iPad that evening. For tickets, call 483-4217.
