Foote Avenue is minus one utility pole after a single-car accident on Thursday. Vincent Caruso, 52, of Jamestown, was driving a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse north on Foote Avenue when he became distracted, went off the road, and hit a utility pole. Caruso suffered minor injuries to his head and face, but refused medical treatment when police officers arrived at the scene. No charges have been filed.
