RANDOLPH - Randolph earned its fourth win of the season with a late-game goal to claim a 2-1 non-league victory over Allegany-Limestone in boys soccer on Tuesday.
At the 22-minute mark of the first half, Jacob Turner scored for the Cardinals (1-0, 4-1) with an assist by Skyler Schapp.
Things stayed the same until the Gators (0-1, 2-2) tied the game on a Ryan Vossler goal, assisted by Dom Saglimben early in the second half, but Zach Jackson scored the game-winning goal at the70-minute mark with Schapp getting the assist.
Nick Carpenter had five saves for Randolph to earn the win.
Dom Conroy made 10 saves for the Gators.
DIVISION 2
SILVER CREEK WINS
SINCLAIRVILLE - Four different players found the net for Silver Creek as the Black Knights broke things open in the second half and rolled to a 4-1 victory over Cassadaga Valley.
Nate Serio put Silver Creek on the board at 13:14 of the first half with the assist going to Evan Ward and that goal held up until 41:97 of the second half when Ward scored on a corner kick to make it 2-0. Dylan Sack scored some six minutes later for the 3-0 advantage.
Mike McCarthy followed that with an unassisted goal at 60:61 for the Black Knights before the Cougars finally broke through with a goal by Kyle Ruge at 77:50.
Phil Hanson was the winning goalies with seven saves for Silver Creek.
Tim Bender made 11 saves in the loss for the Cougars.
RUPP LIFTS CATT-LV
PORTVILLE - It was game of solid defense by both host Portville and Cattaraugus-Little Valley, as well as missed opportunities, but the Timberwolves (3-0) found the net once to post a 1-0 victory.
Max Rupp scored what proved to be the winning goal, unassisted, just 4:30 into the game.
The winning goalie was Dylan Rhinehart, who had five saves.
Josh Watson had four saves for Portville (0-3) in the loss.
