CATTARAUGUS - Cattaraugus-Little Valley improved to 3-0 in Division 2 and 3-2 overall with a 3-0 victory over Salamanca (0-2, 0-2) in girls volleyball.
The Lady Timberwolves won 25-12, 25-9 and 25-19 as Sara Crandall came through with 12 kills and four aces, Shelly Bach had eight kills and five aces, Kaitlyn Nye added 20 assists and Erin McGlew collected five digs.
For Salamanca, Alyssa Stahlman had three kills and three aces.
PORTVILLE PREVAILS
PORTVILLE - Portville continued its winning ways as the Panthers stayed perfect with a 3-0 sweep of Cassadaga Valley (0-3) with games of 25-8, 25-18 and 25-12.
For Portville (2-0, 4-0) Taylor Lee produced 29 assists, Shaina Griffin had 10 kills and six aces and Justine Zink contributed16 kills and three aces.
Shawana Miller delivered seven kills and five digs, Britta Howe added one ace, one block, two kills and one dig and Maya Sischo had nine assists for the Lady Cougars
In the jayvee match, Cassadaga Valley posted a 2-1 win.
