Two recent burglaries have the Ellicott Police Department reaching out for information.

According to police, on Sept. 5, officers were called to a home on Butler Avenue in Celoron for a residential burglary complaint. The homeowner said the burglar entered the home and stole several pieces of jewelry, electronic equipment, video games and video game consoles.

The second incident occurred on Sept. 7, when officers responded to a home on N. Hanford Avenue for another residential burglary complaint. The homeowner told officers the burglar made their way into the home and stole two handguns, several pieces of jewelry, various electronics, video games and video game consoles.

Police are looking for anyone with information regarding either of the two burglaries. The Ellicott Police Department can be reached at 665-7083.
