Breast Cancer Group To Meet
The Breast Cancer Support Group will meet Wednesday at Friendly's Restaurant in Brooklyn Square. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., the group will go to the WCA Hospital Mammography Department and see the new digital equipment. The group will be at the Busti Apple Festival on Sunday, Sept. 30, with pink light bulbs and its Turn on the Pink to Black Out Breast Cancer shirts. Master Gardner Event Is Tuesday
The Master Gardener Program of Chautauqua County is hosting an Evening in the Garden at its demonstration site at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The evening will include a tour of the garden, a tasting of the vegetable varieties that have been grown as well as seed saving and lasagna gardening demonstrations. The evening will be hosted and presented by Chautauqua County Master Gardeners. The event is free of charge. The demonstration garden is located at the Frank Bratt Ag Center, 3542 Turner Road, Jamestown. Noah's Ark To Hold Dinner Wednesday
FALCONER - Noah's Ark, a ministry of Falconer United Methodist Church, is holding a spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at 201 N. Work St., Falconer. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children under 10. Tickets are available at the door. Take-out orders are available.
Salamanca School Board To Meet
SALAMANCA - The Salamanca City Central School Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the large group instruction room. The public is welcome to attend.
Library Program Ends Sept. 26
Myers Memorial Library is in its final month of an online book fair through MidAmerica Books. Through this program "Sponsor-a-Book," the library is able to purchase hardcover children's books from MidAmerica Books. With a $20 donation, the company will place a bookplate in a book acknowledging a gift. Some of the publishers are Magic Wagon, ABDO, Calico Books, Checkerboard and Spotlight. N. Harmony Bridge To Close Thursday
NORTH HARMONY - Chautauqua County Bridge 848 on Carpenter Pringle Road, between county Route 16 and Ramsey Road in North Harmony, will be closed to all traffic starting Thursday while the bridge is replaced. A detour will be posted.
Hazeltine Library Board To Meet
