HERKIMER - Jamestown Community College (4-0, 8-4) recorded three volleyball wins in NJCAA pod play at the Herkimer CC Tournament on Saturday.
The Jayhawks defeated Mohawk Valley CC, 25-18, 25-20, 25-23, as Christina Rauh had three aces, 15 assists, six kills and 11 digs and Arrica Lis two aces, seven kills and four digs.
Brittany Brace added 11 kills, seven digs and three blocks, and Kelsey Kyser two aces, three kills, seven digs and two blocks in the win.
JCC beat Herkimer CC, 20-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-16, with Rauh having seven aces, 23 assists, seven kills, 12 digs and two blocks.
Lis contributed two aces, 10 kills and 13 digs; Brace two aces, 10 kills, nine digs and three blocks; and Kyser an ace, five kills, four digs and two blocks.
Then, JCC took care of SUNY Delhi, 25-12, 25-16, 25-8, as Rauh scored six aces, 18 assists, six kills and nine digs; Brace an ace, nine kills and seven digs; and Kali Beardsley three aces and three digs.
''I was little nervous but I couldn't have been more pleased the way we played,'' said JCC coach Ashley Lund.
On Tuesday, Niagara County CC visits JCC in a Region 3 matchup.
