GREENHURST - Mary E. Harman, 89, of Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center, formerly of Little Valley, Kinzua and East Randolph, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, in the center.
She was born April 11, 1923, in Galeton, Pa. the daughter of the late Earl Pete Duvall and Mary Ethel Burlew Duvall.
Mrs. Harman was a graduate and salutatorian of James City High School in James City, Pa.

Mary had worked for AVM and Bush Brothers in Little Valley and following her retirement, she had worked at the Salamanca Nursing Home in Salamanca, N.Y.
Mary enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens and tinkering with her cars.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Harman and his Sharon of Randolph; two daughters: Donna Fox of Jamestown and Mary Brisley of Salamanca; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Duvall of Watts Flats, N.Y.; a half-brother, Earl Duvall of Warren, Pa.; a step-brother, Jack Coleson of Jamestown and a half-sister, Ann Estep of Bradford, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne John Harman on Jan. 19, 1960, and a daughter, Bonita Snyder on July 24, 2009.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday (Sept. 10, 2012) in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Pratt, pastor of the Cherry Creek Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Russell, Pa.
