James C. Todaro, 70, of 231 Delaware Ave., died at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, in his home.
He was the husband of Suzon "Sue" Dowd Todaro, whom he married Feb. 8, 1964.
Jim was born June 10, 1942, in Jamestown, the son of the late Charles and Ann Triscari Todaro, and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1960.

Together with his late father, he had owned and operated several area service stations in earlier years. Jim had been employed by Ulrich Planfiling for 26 years and retired from Blackstone Business Enterprises.
He was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club.
Jim will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that was always doing everything he could for his family.
In addition to his wife, surviving is a son, James C. (Patricia) Todaro II and two daughters: Debra (David) Butts and Denise (Richard) Parenti, all of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Nicole and Ricky Parenti, Amber and Zack Butts and Abigail Todaro; and a great-grandson, Bryson Parenti.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Todaro; and a sister-in-law, Carol Hill.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Darryl G. Duffy, pastor of St. James Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
