JAMESTOWN POLICE
Jonathan R. Carlson, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 3:27 p.m. Monday. According to police, officers were dispatched to Dollar General on Washington Street for a report of a shoplifter. After an investigation, Carlson was allegedly found to have stolen several items from the store. He was also found to be in possession of an electronic stun gun. He was taken to the city jail and held without bail pending arraignment.
Justin A. Anderson, 22, was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration at 11:49 p.m. Monday. According to a police report, officers were dispatched to a reported fight at 129 Stowe St. Upon arrival, three subjects were fighting and Anderson fled the scene on foot from officers, but was caught after a short foot pursuit. He was held pending further action.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
SHERIDAN - Jack A. Lewetzki, 55, of Dunkirk was charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se at 5:55 p.m. Saturday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charges.
HANOVER - Michael R. Conway, 30, of Tonawanda was charged with having an open container of alcohol at 5:45 p.m. Sunday. He was issued an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
HANOVER - Andrew Jenson, 24, of Little Valley was charged with having an open container of alcohol at 4:45 p.m. Sunday. He was issued an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
BEMUS POINT - A 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were both charged with trespassing, criminal mischief and making graffiti at 7 a.m. Tuesday. After an investigation by the sheriff's office, the two subjects were charged for an incident that occurred on Aug. 3 in Bemus Point.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
LITTLE VALLEY - Richard C. Skye, 44, of Salamanca was charged with unlawfully fleeing from a police officer, first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, violation of parole and multiple other vehicle and traffic charges at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, Skye led a deputy on a pursuit after the deputy attempted to stop him. Skye was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail and will be in court later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
HANOVER - William L. Kohler, 40, of Silver Creek was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 percent at 11:48 p.m. Monday. He was released to a third party.
