ALFRED - ''They outplayed us as any time you give up 15 shots you are going to probably lose,'' stated Jamestown Community College coach Pat Anderson after dropping an NJCAA men's soccer game to perennial-power Mohawk Valley CC (3-0-1) in the East-West Tournament on Saturday.

Mohawk Valley scored both goals in the first half within two minutes and then added two more in the second half for a 4-0 victory.

Armin McKic scored the first goal at 24 minutes and scored again at 26 minutes for a 2-0 lead.

Chris Buck made it 3-0 in the second half at 19 minutes and Mike Best tallied with 12 seconds left for the final goal.

JCC had only five shots with Paul Andalora having one of the best scoring chances.

The Jayhawks (0-2) play SUNY Delhi in the final game of the tournament at noon today.
