Ellicottville Wins Behind Running Of Musall

ELLICOTTVILLE - Junior running back Phalla Musall rambled over the 100-yard mark and scored twice to make it a succesful debut for Ellicottville in Class DD competition.

Musall rushed for 123 yards on 16 carries while scoring on runs of 9 and 21 yards as the Eagles downed Forestville, 36-6.

Ellicottville couldn't have gotten off to a better start as Jake Rinko took a reverse and didn't stop until he was in the end zone 65 yards away.

Forestville tied it up at 6-6 when Adam Pelva grabbed a 33-yard pass from Jake Nosbish.

Then Ellicottville scored the final 30 points with Musall having a pair of touchdowns, Cody Mowery a 28-yard touchdown run and Cam Wilson on a 28-yard touchdown pass from Rinko.

Defensively, linebacker Dylan Paprocki had 12 tackles and Jess Pollock 11 tackles and a fumble recovery for the winners.

Nat Maines led Forestville with 41 yards on 15 carries.
