Five Charged In Salamanca Drug Busts

SALAMANCA - Five men faces charges following a lengthy drug investigation in Salamanca.

Matthew W. Maybee, 37, and Vernon G. Isaac Jr., 31, were charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and a count of criminally using drug paraphernalia. Eric W. Lindgren, 35, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, Donald Watson Jr., 31, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and a 17-year-old was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana after law enforcement personnel executed a search warrant at Maybee's residence, 8151 Jimerson Road, Salamanca, and another warrant at 58 Carlton Ave., Salamanca.

Lindgren, Maybee, Isaac and Watson were all arraigned in City of Salamanca Court and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. The 17-year-old was issued an appearance ticket for City of Salamanca Court to appear at a later date.

The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force was assisted by the DEA Task Force Group, New York State Police, Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, Cattaraugus County K-9 Unit, Salamanca Police Department, Cattaraugus County District Attorney's Office and New York State Division of Parole in the investigation.
