Hannah Joy Waite and Timothy Paul Newman exchanged wedding vows on July 28, 2012, at the Busti Victorian Hall. Tim Swauger, uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Susan Waite of West Ellicott, N.Y., and Harold Waite of Lakeland, Fla. She is also the granddaughter of Richard Maitland of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Sylvia Maitland and the late Lyman and Mary Waite. Her husband is the son of Timothy and Elena Newman of Dallas, Texas. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Robert "Mow Mow" Newman of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and the late Robert "Papa" Newman.
The bride wore an ivory strapless chiffon A-line gown with hand-beaded lace detail from waist to hem and a chapel train.

Sarah Waite, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Clare Caprino and Courtney Gustafson, cousins of the bride, and Beth Michaels. Junior bridesmaid was Alexis Newman, sister of the groom. Flower girl was MaLiyah Waite, niece of the bride.
Best man was Timothy Newman, father of the groom. Ushers were Ryan Hallquist and Christopher Newman, brother of the groom.
The bride graduated from Jamestown Community College with an associate degree in criminal justice. She works at Curious Kids Learning Center in Wilkes Barre, Pa. Her husband is pursuing a degree at ITT Technical Institute at Wilkes Barre/Scranton, Pa. He works at Avoca Airport in Avoca, Pa.
