SINCLAIRVILLE - It was quite a performance on Tuesday for Cassadaga Valley sophomore Alicia Guichard.
With her Lady Cougars trailing Pine Valley, 1-0, Guichard came through with a game-tying goal with just 1:10 remaining. Then, just over a minute into the second 10-minute overtime period, she tallied the winning score to give Cassadaga Valley a come-from-behind 2-1 non-league girls soccer victory.
Cassadaga Valley goaltender Brittany Bellinger made 10 saves in the win.
For Pine Valley, Karah Herman scored the opening goal at the 25-minute mark.
The two squads will square off once again on Friday at 11 a.m.
